The owner of Dar 23 co-created and successfully managed a "Maison d'Hôtes" for 5 years in Essaouira, a now well known destination on the western Atlantic coast of Morocco. In the summer of 2006, Peter bought a small house in the historical part of the medina of Tangier and embarked on a journey to create a space that represents his vision of home.
After working diligently with local craftsmen for over 2 years and bringing to the house his unique mix of cultural and stylistic influences, a lifetime's collection of art objects and an acquired sense of hospitality, Peter decided to share his passion for this Moroccan home with discerning voyageurs who seek something more then just a comfortable room during their journey to Morocco.
